If you mean the blown out white circle, there's a ceiling window at the top over the stairwell and the difference in exposure was just too much.

Yes, there are several possibilities and I will upload a few others for comparison. You get very different looks depending on where you position the camera.

Yes, but it is the only position under the stairs where you get the illusion of an eye.

Very strong mood. The window is slightly distracting but on the other hand does explain the light. A bit ambivalent about it. High marks though, my favorite to win!
