It's a very cool picture, but I must admit I would have been disappointed had I voted for a ribbon and then read about the superglue afterwards. A great idea for sure, but not a real capture of nature, no?

I should not have added the candle, it didn't work. As to the "boozer", I don't think you quite got the message of "Monday Night Football" I was going for, no fault of yours, but he is integral to the "story" of the picture. Not my best effort but I had some fun doing it which was all I was looking for really. Better luck next time I hope. :-)

In this case I think the picture would be better without the selective coloring, or at least toned down some. Lke the composition, pose and begging eyes.

I love the left half with the frosty flower, but don't really like the distracting flowers on the right hand side. I'd suggest toning those down. Even better maybe, crop tighter on the main subject and clone out the pink blossom(s).

Thanks eveyone for voting and commenting! I'm very happy with the 10th place for my first entry, the winners are great pictures that well deserve their places. It's really difficult in my opinion to compare such different pictures and choose one or the other, every picture entered has something unique. My main reason for taking part is really mostly to get new impulses and a reason to get off the couch, if I some day can earn a ribbon that'll just be icing on the cake. Hunting for subjects for challenges is much more fun than TV re-runs. :-)

Clearly underrated in my view. I think this is one of the best in the challenge. Maybe people just prefer happy pictures, not disturbing like this one is.

I have to admit I was getting my hopes up just a little bit when I compared to the scores in some of the previous challenges. This one contained some very fine pictures though, so congrats to the winners, well deserved!
