this image tells alot and i love that photojournalistic feel and this picture has much of it.

your white balance seems a bit off, in photoshop this is easy to correct using the levels tool. the tree branches coming in from the corner are a bit distracting as well and so is the big trunk because it creates a sort of line that leads to nothing.other than that the image is great i believe.

the lighting is very nice and goes very well with the theme of the contest, i think the DOF is ok though. you have a great shot here but what i've noticed in this site to win is creativity which alot of people have used to try and win and caused them to have a higher score. thinking outside the box is key.

nice shot i like the idea and everything but its kind of hard to see... I like the silheouhte ( sp?) but i think the background is just tooo bright for me. one thing i am going to suggest for you is next time try to have the lines perfectly balanced, if you notice the vertical lines are crooked, they should always point straight up and down..there is a tutorial on this site on making your picture straight.

well i was dissapointed with my score but thats only because i didnt grasp the taste of what everyone liked i guess. I had tons of very nice pics from this photoshoot with panning and all. i just liked this one in particular, next time i'll try to take photos to suit the needs everyone likes ;)

nice perspective, i like how you captured the texture and how the building seems to be sort of old, i dont see how it fits under "delicate" though. your sky is captured nicely as well. your shadows seem to disrupt in this image though nice shot but doesnt fit the theme of this contest.
