Dead Endby sumpComment: Dead end of branch placed at intersection of thirds. Interesting color. Background is nicely out of focus, but a little distracting still. |

Sunset Shiftby MrvileComment: Nice bee! I like the backlighting on this, gives the insect a nice "friendlier" look. Bee is placed at intersection of thirds. Would rate higher but not quite sharp. |

Aloneby marius73Comment: Very pretty color in the clouds. Horizon line is about at the lower thirds line. Boat is a little too far to the left in the frame. Putting it closer to the thirds line on the left side of the frame would have been more powerful. |

Catch Of The Dayby rasdubComment: Crab guy is nicely placed on right third. Counter is about 2/3 of lower part of frame. Back of guy's head is about at intersection. Would have like to see his face there. Although, he probably would have been hit in the back of the head with that thing! |

moo...by BethanComment: Great photo! Subject is placed nicely at intersection of thirds. Horizon line is about at the third line, although it may be a little low for my taste. |

Corridaby InnaNComment: Cool action shot. Nice placement of subject in the right third of frame. Intersection of thirds seems to be somewhere in between the bull and the bull fighter. Would rather see it on one or the other. |

Rule No. 3: Keep your balance...by TerramarComment: Nice stop of the action. Focus on the man's head is nice and sharp. Interesting diagonal line created by surfer and the wave. Right now surfer's shoulder is at intersection of thirds; would rather see his face there. |

Strengthby saintaugustComment: Nice use of thirds in the highlight to shadow line. Shadow side has some very attractive detail. Would like to see subject at intersection of thirds for more visual impact. |

Duskby Steve___Comment: Wow, this is terrific! Magnificent use of thirds with the tower and the horizon. Beautiful colors. Top of tower looks just a tad blurry compared to forground. |

"I never saw the sea..."by fotodudeComment: Wow, dreamy! The sky looks unreal! Great use of thirds here with the horizon at the third lower horizontal thirds line and the lighthouse at the left thirds line. Color really accentuates the lines well. Would have like to see something in the sky (bird, cloud, sun, etc.) to let me know it was on our planet. |
