Pink Kalanchoe #2by GentleSoulComment: Macros are sometimes easier with a tripod. This one is very nice both in color and compositon. This would be a fun image to play around with in the way of unusual crops or or some of the fun Photoshop options like giving it a watercolor look. Lots of possibility. Very nice. |

The Badlands: Nature's Primary Colors (with PP)by GentleSoulComment: This is beautiful! I don't know how the original looked but this one is very nice. My only suggestion is to give it a pass through Neat Image just to smooth out the sky, it seems to have a weird "fabric-y" (that is SO not a word! LOL) texture. |

Baby Geeseby KatmystiryComment: Ohhh aren't they cute! My only picky thing is that the one in front blends right into the other. Consider burning the top of the one in front just a tad to define him better. |

Pretty.by moniepennyComment: This did turn out well! I had to work at getting the hang of Macros with my Powershot too. Do you use a tripod to shoot them? You might consider that if not. Sorry...I babble :P The composition is excellent, good use of the rule of thirds. Nice mix of colors and textures as well. A very nice, clean image. |

angry dragonflyby ArpeggioAngelComment: He has a cartoon-ish face. Like it's smiling. Funny considering the description. You seem to have a knack for capturing these guys. |

Scarlet Skimmerby ArpeggioAngelComment: That guy is crazy-looking. Consider a tiny bit of selective sharpenign on the top left wingtip just to draw it out a little more.

bamboo orchidby ArpeggioAngelComment: I love the softness. The DOF works well. I would consider just a touch of sharpening/burning in the center of the left (viewers left) petal. Just to bring the eye across the bright spot. |
