Los Angeles Morningby TelehubbieComment: Beautiful photo with some fantastic colors. The telephone/power cables should be buried in every US city. |

Door to Sea or Reflect to the Courtyardby shutterbug8Comment: Wonderful shot, but I just wish the sandy looking line on the bottom of the window was cropped off. I can't tell if it's the beach or a railing on the porch. Otherwise a visually stunning photo. |

The Sound of Silence by Keith ManiacComment: At first glance I thought this was an extension of a stage and the guy was performing some type of act (e.g., comedy). I thought that it captures well the reaction and isolation of a performer who is just not connecting with his audience. I thought that this is truly when you really do hear the "sound of silence" and it can be deafening.
However, I think your photo has a similar theme and even though the person on the end of the pier isn't performing for an audience, he is hearing the "sound of silence."
Congrats and great job!

The Face of a Thousand Talesby BradComment: It is a very good photo, but until I scrolled down and saw the half-eaten sandwich I mentally hadn't formed an opinion as to who he was. For me it was the half-eaten sandwich in his hand that made me understand this photo. |

Hitchin by JchampComment: Very funny and clever photo, assuming the "woman" is actually a man in drag. |

My Audi by xcharrierComment: This was all the photographer did: I got some soft pads and attached them to my tripod legs. Took some ratchet straps and attached the tripod above and below the trunk. I used my remote and set a 15 second interval to take photos while I was driving.
WOW!!! Now that is going the extra mile to get a great photo! It's going too far...maybe, but I love the creativity. Awesome photo and a fantastic technique. By the way, in what city does WalMart have a circular driveway attached to a multi-level parking lot?? |
