Give it a shot for you, first thing I notice when looking at pic is the two pronounced white spots above and below the left eye, seem to draw my attention immediatly and distract from the photo, personal opinion is it would have done a bit better with a profile rather than a head on shot. I did not vote but would probably have scored this a six, a little above average photo. As always, these are my opinions, and they are worth probably what you paid for them! LOL

Well, as no one else has, I will give it a shot. Background distracts me a little, if you can downgrade the purple I think it would help a bit. Also places in background look grainy/noisy to me on this puter, so maybe a noise reduction would help that. The focus on the butterfly is well done, (and btw, overall I like the pic), but the angle seems to be off, most flutterbyes look better with wings all the way open, or at least close - so as one can see the complete wing structure. So, take this for what it is worth - what you paid for it LOL. Hope it helps a little, anyway!

Coming from one finishing so close to this, cannot understand why no one commented on it, I think it is a great capture, how anyone could vote it under 5 is beyond me, but......., dof, colors, focus all look great, only thing I can think of to do to help it a little bit is the crop, would leave a little more space to the right side, giving the bird a bit of space to enter, otherwise not much from me!
