Sufdarjung Tombby arvinderComment: beautiful symetry and framing. I wish the sky had something going on but I still think this photo is great. 7 |

Moon Beneath My Leavesby freakin_hilariousComment: moon is difficult to shoot, you have to underexpose with a fast shutter and then bump up in photoshop with levels and curves. Nice attempt, sadly the photo is lacking any real punch in my opinion. |

Crop by Panadianby panadianComment: I like the tone of the image, did you try a version with your other hand with the thumb in frame? for the sake of balance that strikes me as something I'm almost supposed to expect. Nice exposure though. 6 |

Dream Scapeby veoconComment: The balance of the photos is excellent, almost perfect. The bottom right is something that could perhaps be punched up with curves and or levels, it's slightly distracting. The bridge and the sky are excellent, I find sometimes after taking a shot that it would be nice to take another crack at the framing as cropping doesn't always allow what you would like. A very confidant and well executed photo overall though, Good job!
I would recommend the 50mm 1.8 prime as perhaps the next lens to purchase for your kit, You will get tremendous sharpness out of it and it would be ideal for stuff like portaits or fixed objects etc. It is about $100 and far sharper than the kit lens. On the cheap one of the best and most rewarding lenses to buy. ("jay" was taken with this lens if you check my profile)
Best Regards,

entry editby veoconComment: Interesting shot, I like the foreground composition alot. the contrast and framing is nice however I would either do the shot with just her, and something interesting in the depth of field portion. Something about your facial expression doesn't work with this, but I find I like the foreground enough to almost overlook that. I'm not sure what emotion your feeling It almost looks like a forced smile :) Anyhow I just thought I would leave a comment, as it caught my eye. |
