The match is not well enough lit to really make it show up - I'm guessing the metering of your camera exposed for the flames, making the match area so dark. The composition is also neither centered nor follows the "rule of thirds". Either even spacing top to bottom or a different crop (a square crop would have been great here) would make the image feel more complete.

I would have preferred to see the crop the other direction so you could fully see both hands and the eyes behind. The lower 1/3 of the picture detracts from the hands themselves.
