Well....okay, if you insist. But only if I can set up my tripod and camera and get shots of it...I REALLY need a good submission for the body parts challenge! ~Kate

It's a Frog Eat Frog World by RackatComment: Thank you very kindly to everyone that took the time to comment! A couple of you thought this little guy was not real and referred to a white line in the photo. I was really stumped for a while about this and then I finally saw what I now believe to be a dog hair. He stays mainly in the water and gets pretty sticky when he starts to dry. He would tolerate shooting for about 2 minutes then off the spoon he'd hop, sometimes landing not quite on all fours. I would then pick the debris from the carpet off his sticky skin, and shoot for a couple more minutes before I put him up....guess I missed a hair and never noticed it in the shot. Amandolin, you are right! I was wondering if anyone would notice! He is actually an Oriental Fire Bellied Toad, but for title purposes he became a frog for the week. |

Water Colourby EverettComment: WOW!! The colors in this are so amazing! The bow looks like candy to me in some places and neon lights in others. I love the light reflections in the water....they are very soothing. This is a color treat for the eyes....my favorite! :-) |

He Loves Me....He Loves Me Not by RackatComment: Thanks to everyone who took the time to comment. I appreciate it in a BIG way as they really do help me. Regarding the pulled petals that the majority of you wanted to see....I actually had shot with petals lying beside the flower, but in the end I still liked this one better, though I do see what you mean about better meeting the challenge. :-) |
