I think you're subject is the fence (net?) line running up and across your shot but you've included a lot of extra "stuff" in the image so it tends to get lost. Using black and white makes it get lost even more as the shot doesn't have much contrast.

I'd love to see this shot again, in color and with you concentrating on a small part of the scene and tightening in on that.

This sounds petty but your subject leans in towards the center of the image and it's very distracting to my eye. That said, this is a really nice shot.

Cropping so close takes the hair out of context and really almost makes it look like your model is looking through a curtain which, to me anyway, is the point of the image. Very clever and well shot
