Ella loving the New Fenceby dagaleaaComment: Look at that SMILE!!!! I think it's adorable and even if it doesn't fit the tight PORTRAIT category, perhaps this IS the way that ELLA needs to be portrayed. I loved this pic and felt that it showed us a side of her personality that most of the pics in this challenge didn't reflect.
This is a PORTRAIT OF ELLA! I'm glad the chain link fence didn't cover her eye. That would have changed the entire pic. This way, she's sort of a LITTLE RASCAL dog!
Thanks for sharing. |

I'm ready, I'm ready!by gminkComment: Taken from a slightly different direction, the backlighting would have been delightful. This is great and tells a bit of a story... |

Devotionby patio127Comment: Zeke is as sweet as can be, and strangely I would have liked to have seen him cropped even closer, but square. I think it is the head space above that throws me off the most because of the direction it was taken. The focus on his eye is great and this photo can be saved!
Natural light would be wonderful, and would give him that warmth that I am sure he radiates. |

Snow Buddyby TallPaulComment: This 100% mongrel reminds me very much of the awesome mutt I had when I was a kid... she lived to be fourteen years old, and put up with a lot from we three were kids and then my son when he was a baby!
Nothing like a quality mongrel. This one kinda brought a tear to my eye cause it has the same type of hair and beautiful brown eyes. Yours looks part Wolfhound and part Australian Terrier.
Enjoy your dog. This is a great character shot and I hope you are very proud of it, cause you should be. |
