Bridge Over Troubled Watersby docurrieComment: So glad for you... you did great...
I gave this one a ten but my internet went down for six days and I never apparently got enough votes in on time before to make the 20%, to make my votes count... It is interesting to see that the ones I had chosen as high scorers did do well.
This was my favourite of the competition... |

Thunderby lovethelightComment: Love this pic... he does look proud and beautiful. What kind of dog is he? He reminds me a lot of my Chocolate Lab but he might also be a Rottweiler mix? Either way, he's gorgeous.
I hope he gets adopted to a good home.

Water Loveby lovethelightComment: I must be really strange, but I love this pic. I wish I had one of my dog like this, and am going to consciously make an effort to do so.
Don't be down on yourself. There are a lot of pics in this competition that didn't do well that really should have. |

The best dog ever.by SouthCoastOr3gonComment: I was touched by this pic and the title because I, too, have 'The Best Dog Ever'.
Mine is a seven and a half year old chocolate lab named Murphy who has enhanced my life in ways that are far too many to count, and is laying on my feet now, snoring as I type.
Luckily, since you too have The Best Dog Ever, I don't have to explain!

Tough Loveby Noel_ZHComment: The saddest part of this picture to me is that the chain is so short that she can't even comfortably lay down to nurse her pups.
It's an excellent portrait of a mother and her brood, in less than perfect circumstances, yet she seems happy enough to provide nourishment. It makes me stop long enough to wonder where her water bowl is, and whether someone is feeding her as well.
A truly great shot is one that evokes emotion and makes you think. This does both. |
