I think the best thing about this picture is that it really highlights the beauty of pregnancy, both in the life that is about to begin, and the beauty of the expecting mother. I like that her gaze draws you to her stomach. Go good job at either posing her, or capturing her at that moment. The only nitpick that I would mention is that shadow around her neck. I think it would be a stronger picture without that b/c her skin is so evenly toned on the rest of her body.

Nice job pushing the envelope and experimenting with this image. The colors are very cool, but for some reason the sky and the overly yellow branches in the sky bother me.

Well, I'm noticing a little bit of a pattern in your work, as you seem to have a nice eye for small details in life, and also utilize shallow DOF effectively in a lot of your shot. Nice capture and find with this shot.

This entire picture goes together really nicely. The old dog with the blurred out surrounding, but not too blurred out to notice the rural look of his surroundings (old tires, etc). This entire image tells a story and that's why I like it so much. Everything looks weathered to go with this old guy.

Bubbles

Really nice pattern and focal range on this shot. This would have done well in the Abstract challenge I think. Nice sharpness without oversharpening on the bubbles as well.

I think this would have been better if the one wing wasn't cut off. You also might want to bump the contrast a little more or use the burn/dodge tool to get a better white for the bird and additional USM.

This is my favorite of the 3 shots you posted today. The focus on the birds face is perfect and I liek how the sense of motion is conveyed with the wings. I bet you are having a great time teaching the 5th and 6th graders. NEW 24 TONIGHT!!!!
