Orchid #2by cfischlComment: I like the macro focus on this shot. The colors are really nice. I wonder if it would have been better with more of the petals filling the bottom portion of the picture instead of the dark and white light, as well as in the top right of the picture. |

National Cathedralby cfischlComment: Hey Charles. I like this shot. Looks like you did some dodging and burning and I like the way you draw attention to the lines created by the ceiling and arches. Have you tried to burn that white spot over the door some? It seems to bright and a little bit distracting. |

Broken Analogby thegrandwazooComment: Nice choice of tone to go along with this picture. It makes me think about what the picture would look like on this old TV. Well done! |

Snow between blueby alexgarciaComment: Nice scenery and good exposure on this shot considering the wide range of dark and light. The sensor dust definitely takes away from the picture, but I know you can't clone with the basic rules. I'd suggest that you definitely clone the various dust spots for this picture now that the challenge is over. |

walking on a patternby alexgarciaComment: I like the symmetry of the two people's steps...that helps make this a much better picture. I do agree that maybe you could make the colors a little more vibrant. |

It's time to buy another bike, daddyby alexgarciaComment: Nice use of a good DOF. Perfect subject for this challenge. I really think it would have been better to not have the out of focus front part of the bike in the picture, but others probably like it. The blue against the rust brown is quite nice. Well done and congrats on the top 20! |

E S C H E R I S Mby alexgarciaComment: Appropriate title for this shot. Good abstract shot. It also reminds me of that old video game Q-bert :). I do kind of feel like you could bump the contract just a little more to make this picture a little better, but that's just my personal opinion. |

Road up IIby alexgarciaComment: I think this is by far the best of your recent road shots. The color and lighting in this version is the best of the bunch by far in my opinion. Some of the other shots just aren't that interesting to me. I like this one b/c of the tire tracks in the middle of the road and the gradual tone change of the road from those tracks. The lines in this picture also lead you better to the mountains unlike some of the other road pictures. |

Laughterby MakkaComment: Another great capture of one's personality. It would be easy to capture her in various sexy, staged poses, but the fact that you caught her in this moment of relaxation makes this picture all the stronger. Nice job. |

Time to relaxby MakkaComment: Nice job capturing a very happy moment for this couple. You can see the happiness in their face and it translates well into the photography. The sharpness of the focus and colors is really well done. I can't really offer any criticism on this shot as I think you executed it well. |
