DPC2201.jpgby mpetersComment: Hey Mark -- I've taken a fair share of shots of the Golden Gate Bridge at night and this is definitely something that happens to me sometimes with regards to the focus looking soft. I think the long exposure sometimes picks up the moisture/fog in the air and softens things up. The bridge also moves pretty good when you are walking on it. More than some people think when you walk across it for the first time.
I haven't taken a shot yet of the brige at night from this vantage point. I like how it lights up the water and the sillouette of the pier . Nice shot. |

Jadeby sherpetComment: Do you have a monopoly on the Agave photos yet :). Another great shot in this series. Love the soft colors and painted feel that the plant skin gives off. Beautiful lines as well. |

Hear my roar !by ShutterPugComment: I like some of the aspects about this shot, but I can't help but keep noticing the burning and dodging on the right side of the picture and around back. I don't mind the effect you are going for, but the dodging and burning appear a tad bit sloppy. The color and capture are both really nice. Great sharpness as well. |

Winter Wonderlandby ShutterPugComment: Really cool shot here. The fact that you kept the small pond in the frame makes all the difference. I like the color a lot where the water starts to make its way from the pond to those first three falls. Lovely work and deserving of the great score. |

solitaryby TuckersmomComment: I actually like that this isn't brighter as you mentioned in your comments. The deeper shade of orange really gives me a sense of autumn. Love the detail in the stem as well. |

Beautiful in Brownby TuckersmomComment: Your flower shots are as good as they come in my opinion. This one caught my eye this time. The macro DOF is perfect in this shot, even in the placement withinn the frame. Lovely. |
