Calm the Fearby theflyComment: Hmm. . I'm not sure what I'm looking at here. What is this? Also, I'm left to imagine the rest of the circle. |

Bon Apetit!by mannjuditComment: I don't know... it just doesn't look too appetizing as a photo! I think the circles would have been more a part of the picture without the greens "hiding" them. It would have been easier to see the circles too, if there were a shadow or something where one slice is laying on the other -- it's actually pretty difficult for me to see circles here (except for the dish of course). |

Concentricby sangeethComment: I really like this one. I eyed a few manholes for this challenge as well. The gold color is nice. I would have liked to see the whole lid in sharp focus. 6 |

Lady's Eyeby LeapNLizardzComment: Difficult to see what I'm looking at -- it could have been a lot better without the OOF leaf in front of the subject. Also, the circle (the eye) is pretty small to pick up as a major element of the shot. -- 3 |

Tee Timeby KrozarComment: I like "ball full of circles" idea. The bright side of the ball is a little bright, but I know how difficult that can be to rectify in the open challenges -- I've struggled with it myself. |

Archesby jrtoddComment: Hmm.. a nice picture, but it's barely a circle -- to me. I think it could have been very interesting if you could have caught the sun more in line with the face of the wall there -- casting some nice shadows too. |

A Place To Restby GolferDDSComment: The title made me search for the meaning, the old piers guided me to it. I like this one. |

Arrivalby ace flymanComment: I tried to do something similar -- but I found that I couldn't get high enough to really see the runway. I 4-wheeled right up to the airport perimeter fence and set an 8-foot ladder on the top of my chevy blazer and snapped away until airport security came out to ask what the heck I was doing. Then I didn't even wind up using the shots.
I think that, as with my shots, a higher vantage point would work better to show the runway's "leading lines" -- but I like the color in your shot. |
