Nightlightby shobleyComment: This would be such a great shot if it was rotated just a tad CCW to even the "horizon" |

Top Floorby maxjComment: Interesting. An upside down photo. I'm assuming this was intentional. Very interesting. |

Fencesby phinbobComment: Nice B&W! I think your exposure was spot on, and I like the broken wood. I do agree with SDW65 that the eye wanders to the back. This is because the line of the fence takes you there, but there's really nothing to see in the back. This would be a WICKED photo if you used the fence to lead the eye to something really eye catching. |

A Dental Drill And Bit by GolferDDSComment: Congratulations on getting people to like a picture of something they actually really would prefer to avoid. Shows your skill as a photographer, I would say!! |

Implements of the Rain Maker by aboutimageComment: OK, let's see if I can even type - my heart is still beating halfway out of my chest. This was a BIG surprise. Right before the challenge ended I was saying "Top 10, oh please, oh please, Top 10"!!! A ribbon??? Wow! Thanks so much for the votes, and congratuations to inede and nshapiro for their ribbons as well!
Anyway, several people commented during voting that they'd like to see this photo in color, so here it is:

window1.jpgby nomad469Comment: I like it, but then I'm a sucker for B&W. I wonder what it would look like with a brown tone? Message edited by author 2005-08-02 23:44:40. |

Craftsmanby sibelingComment: One of my top picks. I like the action you captured here, and the cropping reduced things down to a sort of "minimalist" view of the action. Good stuff. |
