Is this a model? Lighting looks very strange. Noisy as well - guess this was a high film speed?

Could have been nice...but for me there's minimalism, and then there's not being in the frame!

Law of thirds would have worked for me.

Outstanding composition - one of those "once in a lifetime" opportunities. The birds are a little dark, and the sky is a bit dull, but this would be a killer photo if only the heads were in focus. No criticism there though - focusing on a moving bird in low light is not easy ;)
