Light and shadowby sangeethComment: This is actually a 100% crop from the original, taken with a D50 and 80-200 AF-D. Had to crop it as 200(300mm eqv) is not at all sufficient for a fairly sized moon.
I was surprised to see that a 100% crop was this clear although it not very sharp as you have commented.

Tap tapby sangeethComment: Yes, it qould have been better with the finger dry. Would have minimised the reflection and also could have used some other background.
Setup is a steel bowl of water and taping the finger in it. Shot taken when the finger comes off the water. Flash was used (builtin) hence the reflection. |
