Back Porchby GermaineComment: Oh how well I appreciate a fine eye for minimalism. I love this photo! (And thanks for catching my spelling error - I would defer to Einstein about not cluttering my brain with things I might easily look up - but I'm no Einstein, just stunted in my spelling development!) |

Maxfield Parrish Remembered - 2 of 2by goodsoulComment: Thanks for the comment. I especially like your "At the Dimming of the Day" shot, your child in a jar.
I had to amplify the saturation in the Maxfield Remembered series, in order to pull out the details. The shots were disadvantaged by lighting conditions and the camera I had at the time. I had been to the Maxfield Parrish display in San Diego in September, so while I couldn't hope to duplicate his remarkable vision, I was reminded.
Thanks again! |

in smiling colorby nikuserComment: Very nice photo and lovely model. What a smile and conveyance of warmth and innocence. My only distraction is the nose area which seems slightly blurred or lacking in depth. Maybe it's me. Generally speaking, I love the shot. |

Winter stormby vignir_mComment: I like it. I wish I knew more about how it was done so I could deliberate intelligently about those few aspects that don't quite ring true, but they are subtle and more about the composited whole then any particular sub-element. Very nice work overall to my untrained eye. |

The transparent milk projectby carodaniComment: Very cool, professional quality. But, Got Milk? Nope. I will have to try this kind of shot sometime or seek out the maker to tell me how it is done. It seems very strong technically but not a giant leap conceptually. |

We Are Not Amusedby TG73Comment: I like cats. I like photos of cats. I like cats that are acrobatic or silly or in unusual circumstance. A pisse off cat is simply not new. They are arrogant beasts anyway, and pissed off is part of the routine.
Good photo of the cat but the carpet detracts I think. |

Glad to be Backby DrewLongComment: Wonderful shot. Not quite as strong as some of the other similarly toned expressions. But I say that guardedly, because I would be thrilled to take such a shot. Well done. |
