serious but sweetby libertyComment: interesting choice of saturation/desaturation/ editing- it really fits the i mage and the flowers- i wish the shirt wasnt so blown out but I can also see how it might add to the photo- by not taking up too much attention that way... i like the almost drawn effect of the image-- it could potentially be a greeting-card :-) |

Boys love to climb treesby NeatComment: this is a nice c rop- there are some lovely colors in the image, i wish it was more in focus, and perhaps dodged and burned a bit more (the blown out leaves at the bottom under the child draws my eye down and off the page- away from him, the great tree- angle in the pic keeps my eye from wandering off uptop... but maybe taking advantage of the advanced editing option to sharpen would help? :-) |

Boys will be Boysby JokersSoulComment: interesting perspective/composition- cant really see what is going on with the subject tho his body-language is indicating he is pulling something out of or dropping something into the water? i wish i could see better what he is doing perhaps a different angle? or a rule of 3rds crop might help? my eye keeps going to the blury stick to the right - behind his head... then to his plaid underwear sticking out of his jeans - yep boys will be boys... |

Easter Blueby jerseyjimComment: I love the expression - and i think in just black and white it would be a lovely image- or...if there was perhaps at ouch more color to balance it / eyes - rosey cheeks or even some tone to the skin desaturated to draw the eye back up- but instead my eye keeps going to his shirt instead of focusing and remaining on his adorable face :-) |

Easter Funby SaraRComment: really sharp photo- love the colors and the feel of action tho the subject is standing still... nicely done! :-) the classic fake smile just makes me laugh because all kids seem to do that when they see their photo being taken :-) |

Juliannby fotofanComment: I think this image is very enchanting in a magical childhood kind of way; i do wish the subjects eyes were a bit sharper - because they are beautiful and i understand the soft focus because its a lovely style for portraits... i would still -love- to see this done again sharper perhaps eyes nose mouth and edge of flower- (basically center of image in focus with fine detail) and the rest of the image softly oof :-) lovely choices of color to contrast the darkness of the subjects eyes and I like the crop as well- not too close and not too far out- its just...perfect :-) |

Our Easter Stroll by Dirt_DiverComment: this is so sweet and photojournalistic, I adore the hands in the pockets and looking where she is walking; the black and white almost sepia feel to this image makes it feel timeless and classic; the lighting/dodging/burning on sides is nicely done to keep the eye focused on the subject... wondering what she is thinking about as she steps over the crack :-) |

On The Trail Of Peter Cottontailby chickadeezlComment: Adorable- and I love how you worked with the green grass/ green on the back of the shoes by balancing it with a green object in her hand; even more I love that the subject is a redhead (I am a little biased in the fact that I am a redhead and adore redheaded children - it helps that the image is well composed and everything that should be in focus is in focus - love how you got her with 1 foot up too :-) can just see her toddling along in the woods :-) nice non-invasive border as well :-) overall highly scored :-) |

Little Princessby BMacDComment: whimsical- very sweet- i love how you did the selective desaturation; i do wish more of her head in the reflection had been 'colorized' or even a more gradent tone was used on the water to colorize it may have enhanced it more in my opinion? but overall i do love it- its one of the images i scored on the highest end :-) because of the princess magical feel to the composition of her diping her toe in the water... nicely done :-) |
