Very much deserved. Thanks for the great comments, I wish every photographer did the same for their submissions.

I think, even though the colors of the pieces are great, that this would have worked better as a B&W.

This will probably be commented on a lot, but the alignment to the left with the unnessary black space to the right will bring scores down on this entry - I still gave it an eight for the "play on words" and other obvious skill involved.

Great composition and lighting. The crop to the left is somewhat disappointing and the whole shot feels it should have been rotated slightly clockwise (look at the convergence of the horizontal lines in the glass blocks by the subject). Very fitting for the theme, and nice use of B&W - hope this does well.

This is a stunning shot, unfortunately I also give points for adherence to the theme - "Take a creative photograph that depicts something people do to pass the time." - the operative word here being people. Had this theme been "mist" I woulda given it a 10.

I gave this an 8, if the crop had been better (the bit on the right), or even a portrait rather than landscape angle (to show more sky), then this would have scored higher. Still a wonderful shot.

The contrasts, the tone, the textures...everything is amazing. I am especially impressed with the way the viewer is drawn into the frame. There is just so much to look at in this shot, no wonder it has been so popular. Congrats.

That is a fricken cool shot! I know it's a simple (hah!) effect, but the skill with which you have executed it is great. The clarity and sharpness of the drops is awesome. 10.

Stunning. I love the texture and color of the couch. The complimenting colors of the model's clothing is so warm. I also like the simplicity of the composition and neutral background in contrast to the subject.

The only thing I can be picky with is the lower right floor shadow...still gets a 10 though.
