Well, I guess the lesson to learn here is that my laptop screen isn't very good for image work - looking at it back on my 'real' monitor the bright sunlight is a lot more obvious.

In my defense, I was submitting from a foreign country, on my laptop, via an infared link to my mobile phone on an international call to my ISP, so it's hardly surprising it wasn't a masterpiece :-)

Nicely captures the emtions of the central figure seemingly shouting right into the camera. All the crowd seem to be converging on him too although it seems slightly out of place to have this angry central character and at least two smiling faces immediately to his right!

Would be better without the building (greenhouse?) in the lower right corner - the foreground is almost all silhouette but this.

Would have scored higher if it were cropped in a different way - either a wider angle showing us the whole thing or tight in to show some detail. Unfortunately this just looks like we've lost the right edge by accident..
