Though it could be bigger, the main problem with this picture is the amount of JPEG compression, which broke up the not-quite-vertical lines into little pieces of alternating color, not to mention obscuring the brickwork of the old building. Reducing a picture to 1/6 of the maximum file size (25kB vs. the max of 150kB) unnecessarily sheds detail from a picture.

Good picture if not for the dust on the CD, needle and other places. It pains my ears just to imagine what that would sound like (or what it would do to the CD).

The extra light on the old shoe really brings out the wear and the extra darkness on the new shoe makes it seem slicker, but the difference is over stated. A little more light on the new shoe would have been ideal.

I like the contrast between the two flowers, although an increase in brightness (at least in the new flower) would have made this picture stand out more.
