| 05/16/2006 01:16:09 PM | Doomsday Power Conspiracy by TallblokeComment: Extremely good shot - glad it didn't hit the umbrella!
I wish I had taken it, but my only lightning shot was grey with a greeny lightning flash, and not a patch on this one.
If you keep this up, the sky's the limit - (sorry about that)
Very well deserved

| 04/13/2006 02:19:44 PM | Silhouette And Saffronby JunieMoonComment: This is seriously good - I suspect this entrant could make it in advertising photography. She has done two other shots which look to me like advertisements - the meal and the hiking boots, though I like the meal the best.
The best of luck in your photography. And don't worry about the going blind, unless your doctor knows something we dont - even if you sight is poor, as long as you can see to frame, the autofocus will usually take care of things.
I have cataracts in both eyes, and thought my photographic days were over, but have had the left lens replaced, and now my sight in that eye, instead of being soft filter, is now better than 20/20 vision - as good as it ever was, even in childhood, and I am 58 now, but just getting into second stride with the digital camera. How marvellous it is to take a shot, and then not have to pay for film or printing, and to perfect it too!
No other generation has ever had what we have now - and what a joy to be able to share it!
Best of luck in your goals - I am sure you will make it! |

Will you have prints available?
I am impressed with your work, and think you should become a photographer and make some money with it, as you have a very good talent

I cannot get over the glow unde the trees
Wonderful!
I thought you lived in London? I am amazed at such an image from London, where on earth is this?
Very, very impressive picture

| 04/11/2006 01:04:56 PM | French Tulip Netby banmornComment: This looks like a winner!
Brilliant colours, lovely saturation, excellent work with getting the drops just right!
The sort of photo I wish I had taken, but would never be inventive enough!

| 04/11/2006 12:49:56 PM | Breaking the Raysby KrummoComment: Looking like a splash of light, part of a tulip caught by the sun, or a wipe of smoke coming from a spinning vortex, I find this image of the top of a wineglass stem quite a surprise. I like the red and green in the background just under the bowl, and the curious smokey look very intriguing.
Wishing you well with your photo |
| 04/11/2006 12:46:48 PM | The reflectionby archivaComment: The trees bend as if refracted, but it is reflection, I think. I suspect the light of the sunset is refracted however, so you have capture two 'refractions' in the one image - well done
I Love the image though - we have just that light in Shropshire, here in England. It takes me back 50 years to childhood summer dusk at the local lake
Good luck with your image |
| 04/11/2006 12:43:28 PM | Addictiveby TinutuComment: What is this? Coca Cola, or a roulette wheel, or what?
very nice image, cant wait to see the photographer's comments

| 04/11/2006 12:41:53 PM | So you want the World on a spoon? by TechoComment: Very Cute image!
It must have been a very clear glass ball, and you have the contrast, lighting, and focus well on!
Well done, and good luck in the challenge | Photographer found comment helpful. |
| 04/11/2006 12:40:09 PM | Just Fishin'by dahkotaComment: Very crisp thinking here.
Are they individual waterdrops on a glass shelf over a bath or a pattern of fishes on something?
Who care, for it is a very nice way to show refraction through water, and the duck adds to the theme. I love the composition here too!
I suspect a touch more contrast would just bring the duck and the sparkles to even better life here.
Good luck with this challenge, | Photographer found comment helpful. |
