What's a conspiracy?by okiesisiComment: ok, its not faked, but I completely see what you mean.. He is actually standing on our back porch (the toy is hanging from the edge of it.) Here is one of the outtakes that might give some more insight into how I did it.
and to tell the truth, I was hoping someone would have requested a DQ, would boost my ego for people to think I could do more than I actually know how to do, hehehe!

What a beautiful shot! The delicate colors really compliment the beautiful baby! The lighting is very nice, not too soft or too harsh. Nice placement and composition, although some may find the blue blanket distracting. The focus is soft, but not too soft on her face, nice and clear. The only change I would suggest would be to make it larger. Overall, a very nice photo! Good Work and Keep Shooting!

Excellent shot! I love how you have captured the spirit of the boy, natural and candid, without it being what some call a "snapshot". I really enjoyed the composition, leads your eye and mind to what he is thinking. The lighting, detail and focus are all fine to me. The two circles in the background cause a slight distraction, but only slight. IMO this shot should have fared much better than the 5.3. Good work, and you have a beautiful subject to work with! Keep shooting!

So Sixties ...by GeneralEComment: Greetings from the Critique Club!!
Congrats on being brave enough to try something new! You really do have a wonderful subject to work with. About the blue/green, it is entirely a matter of opinion, some will love it, others will hate it. It does work very well will the way she is dressed and the title. As for your composition and focus, I like it. Looks like a fun way to "fix" a harshly lit picture. Good work and keep shooting!

You really have a great portrait here. I really enjoyed the expression and composition. The colors are just a bit yellow, but not terribly. The brightness all around him seems to me almost like his aura, I really enjoyed it! I love the detail and intricacy in his face, shows not only age, but wisdom from experience. Good Work and Keep Shooting!

Any Colour You Likeby CorySmithComment: Greetings from the Critique Club!!
What a fun portrait! The colors are vibrant and enjoyable! the focus on his face is just right. The background colors only enhance the overall feel of the photo. The composition is very friendly, his hand waving suggest a friendly person. The lighting is nice, if only the shadow wasn't in the middle of his hand, but it does not distract from the picture. Very nice capture!
Good work and keep shooting!

Hummingbird Portraitby TomH1000Comment: Greetings from the Critique Club!!
What an amazing capture! The sharpness of the birds face and the flower, the movement in the wings, the colors, the composition, all perfect IMO. It seems there were a few voters who voted low on animal portraits, and many really good photos like yours suffered. I do not see anything this photo needs in the way of improvement.
Excellent job and keep shooting!
