Title might be a little vague. This photo seems almost too real, is that make-up or a mask? If that is an actual persons head kudos to the makeup artist. Lighting, color, clarity are good. Not bad!

Is this a Mardi Gras mask? I honestly never knew so many interesting and different masks there were before this challenge. Looks a bit like a tribal wooden shield. Clear and colorful, good lighting. The isolation of the mask is very well done but I'm not sure I like the complete isolation like this.

I have been trying to play with light painting and I have yet to figure out how to get something nearly as clear as images like this. I just get a bunch of colored lines that don't make up letters nor words, at least not english ones...

I suggest switching to decaff or a faster shutter speed. Can't make out a mask or really even the abstract idea of one. Obviously can't see the face, lighting seems too dark, not very sharp... sorry mate, don't give up!

Well, I can say this is a very unusual entry, a bit scary almost nightmarish. It looks like it took a good deal of work in making and is an interesting idea. Sadly I'm not sure this style is quite me. Clarity seems good, lighting seems a little odd. Good contrast.

I don't see how this meets the challenge at all, just kidding, after 20 detailed comments a little insanity has to be expected.

Good lighting and color, not completely sharp but it works because of all the smooth gradients in this shot, very simple but very effective at the same time. Nothing at all I can say against this shot. Good job!

Ah more than one person had an idea like this, but I don't mind duplicates at all. :) Lighting on her forehead and cheek seem just slightly too bright, almost to the point of washing out her features. Good clarity and color, especially on the fabric. Some minor pixelation in the upper-left of the hair. Those four white dots on the far right are distracting.
