Mom Bored in my back yardby DianaComment: Perhaps a tighter crop, and moving the subject to one side or the other (Preferabley the left in this case) would help here. When taking photographs such as these, divide the shot into thirds, and place you subject on one of those lines....this is just a general rule of course, but it really works.

Shameless boredomby audinutComment: There's just too much contrast in the cat, and this pic has been over sharpened. Also, the shadow on the floor and the cat is a little distracting.
