Jack The Ribblerby siggithorComment: Really interesting shotâ€Â¦ I like the idea, but I don't like the jacketed figure. I think the shot would have stood really well without it – the overall texture, the rain and the sky reflection would have worked really well on their own; but that figure is a blot on the shot that draws the eye away from the wonderful patterns created by the rain drops. Sorry to be so negative, and good luckâ€Â¦ (4) |

Agawa Canyonby rapsiii3Comment: The angle totally took me by surprise. People will either love it, or they'll hate it. Personally, I love the fractal like pattern you have framed here; this is just surrealâ€Â¦ I keep looking and I keep thinking, yup this is greatâ€Â¦ (10) |

Oakleys and Margaritasby spidermanComment: Just classic. Love the idea, and I love the way you've done it. Making it look easy is the mark of a good photographer and you have made a hard shot look easyâ€Â¦ This shot is magic (10) Great captureâ€Â¦ |

Brothers Rememberedby KarenBComment: Sad image; but the shot works really well. The colours and lines, DOF and sharpness all work really well together with the exception of the much darker lower portion of the shot; this adds a little to much subliminal conflict for my liking; I'd have cropped that section personally. Apart from that, the shot is well balanced and interesting. (7) |

Transparentby ndsComment: Superbâ€Â¦ This shot has a dramatic, futuristic but cold feel. The lines in shot work to compliment the atmosphere really wellâ€Â¦ Great shootingâ€Â¦ (10) |

Tranquilityby neriesComment: I think it's a great shot, but perhaps the composition shouldn't have been quite so central. I think there's something not right here, but I'm not sure what, and that's the only explanation I can come up with that makes any sense. (5) |

Leaded Glassby DigiPiqueComment: If only you could get rid of the flowers in the bottom left hand cornerâ€Â¦ The eye is immediately drawn away from the subject because of the heavily contrasting colours down there. This creates a huge conflict within the image, mainly because of the symmetrical uniformity within the rest of the shotâ€Â¦ If I mentally crop them out, the shot becomes significantly better, probably by about four points on my personal scale. Sorry to be so negativeâ€Â¦ (5) |

Now you see me....by ioComment: Inventive, great use of neutral colour, superb composition; this is a terrific shot. The real winner for me is the way that you've handled the focus on the switch and reflection – it works so well because of it's simplicity – so often, less is bestâ€Â¦ (10) Great shootingâ€Â¦ |

Analog to Digitalby magnetic9999Comment: Wonderful shot. The composition works really well; I'm not sure if this counts, but the guitar stand spoils it a bit. But, it is part of the studio, so I'd guess that it doesn't. Because I'm a musician myself with a similar set of equipment, I have spent a little more time on this one – I've got a similar spec guitar I think, mine's an Ibanez Jem 77 Floral – because it interests me personally. Great shot (9) |
