Photosynthesisby vtruanComment: Sorry, but this comes across a bit dull to me in both senses of the word. I can see what you were going for here, the backlit effect, but it just doesn't work. There is little colour and the shapes and textures are not enough to hold interest. The centred subject does no favours either. 3. |

On the wallby Prof_FateComment: The frame looks a bit 'dirty' to me. Now I'm sure it's not that bad really, but for this kind of shot I think everything needs to be scrupulously clean to achieve the intended effect.
If it weren't for that little niggle I'd go 7,as it is a 5. |

Light Experimentby WinterbergComment: The blue bit at the bottom of the globe spoils the effect of the 'rings' a little. I would have preferred a tighter crop personally.

Would have been better if you had her turned around the other way with some of the light falling on her to give a subtle suggestion of light. This is just overexposed. |
