Given to Flyby welcherComment: I think the use of negative space here is brilliant. The contrast between the red plane and the blue sky works well and the angle of the boy's head seems to contribute in a big way. Never heard of the song mind you, but this is great. |

I saw the light - Hank Williamsby andlbComment: Great composition. I think all these greys work well with the odd dash of red and yellow. Its abstract qualities make it one of the pictures of the week for me. |

The Graying of Technology by kandyjComment: It looks like you were shooting toward the sun here, so the quality of light is all the more remarkable to me. It's a very good composition with lots of good detail but it's the atmosphere that grabs me. So far, it's in my top five. Tremendous. |

1891by SSonnentagComment: This is a very interesting object and the picture has charm. But I wonder whether a full-on, 'portrait'-oriented version of it would provide a more satisfying chunk of three-dimensional space required for a balanced photograph. Just a thought. Very good though. |
