Maybe would have set off a bit more with a shade closer crop, and a little more symmetry.

Not a bad shot, except for the chain link fringing. But what are you selling in our catalog?

Apparently this one did go over well, and it would be a shot Breitling would be proud of. I almost bought the SuperOcean a while back, but went for the Chrono Avenger instead. Nice to see others with some class around here. ;0)

Actually, since the Assyrians and Babylonians were using concrete before the Roman Empire was, and it doesn'tem to be a lost science, yes, I am certain they had concrete in the 17th Century.

It's not a valid point anyway, as there is no concrete in the picture. The farmhouse, like most of the structures erected since the mid 16th century in this country, is built of limestone blocks, and the gaps filled with a paste made from the same material. The age of the house is according to the local professional archaeologist whom we were working with.

Thank you for your interest, please do a small bit of research in the future before calling someones integrity into doubt, that is a very hurtful and serious accusation to level.

This a great shot of a beautiful area of the US. My first reaction was that I might have framed the lane a bit more squarely, but as I thought about it, the way it suggests the farm house just around the corner as a "secondary" subject, it gave me kind of a good to be coming home feel. Nice shot Skip.

I just happened upon this one, and it is leaving chills. Probably because this is how I feel in the dentists waiting room. I always enjoy seeing what your going to come up with next.
