camel spider 2by CorySmithComment: Yeah... I'm not sure where you're going with this, but it can't be good. I'd have to try some kind of sauce. Maybe Pawdrix can come up with a recipe? |

Grill.jpgby cryanComment: Chris, this one caught my eye as soon as I opened your page. I really like the use of primary colors, and the way it kinda slaps you upside the head.
The only thing I could suggest to improve the image would have been to use a reflector to brighten up the top right area of the yellow grill. If you shot the image in RAW, you might be able to push the exposure a little bit, or else possibly in levels and or curves.
Anyhow, a nice strong image overall. |

ye olde geary thingyby Jaded_HousewifeComment: Boy, I opened this one up with several ideas in mind, and found that Doc had beat me to it, on almost every point.
Well, here goes anyway.
I actually kind of like the light in this image. I think it may have been a bit stronger from a lower perspective and closer in, but from the same angle. Of course, I'm usually a proponent of a tight crop. Get all the superfluous stuff out of the way.
The only other problem is the focus is a bit soft. Nothing for that but to keep a close eye on what's gonna be sharp. Don't feel bad, it happens.
A black and white conversion may be interesting as well, or a sepia duo-tone, to give it an "antique" look.
Hope this helps... |

207-0732_IMG.JPGby UNCLEBROComment: This is an intersting shot in any number of ways. I think it would have been a good but unremarkable image with out the window frame to set it off. Was that there, or was that something you imported? Either way, it takes a nice, but mundane seascape photo to a whole new level. Goos job visualising the unusual. |
