Come chat with meby lwkimagesComment: Wonderful use of B/W and dodge/burning. Plenty of contrast and compostional elements such as 'line' and 'vanishiing point' to keep the viewer interested. |

"Room to Breathe"by tfarrell23Comment: Very interesting, yet effective composition. This is one example of "breaking the rules" by having so little land in the scene, and yet it still works our great. I also love the use of negative space. Great job. |

The Glacial Silenceby CutterComment: A beautiful landscape with plenty of contrast, a breathtaking view, and a person for even more added interest. Awesome photo. I would be interested in finding out where this was taken... |

Postsby tyrkinnComment: Wonderful landscape, however the posts to me don't make up the main subject of the photo, so IMHO it's a bit of a stretch to meet the challenge. |

Oldby johannesComment: WOW! This photo is absolutely STUNNING! The colors look great, the compostion, lighting, and focus are spot-on, and the subject is interesting. What a great photo, I hope this one picks up a ribbon. |

Railway Essentialsby KonadorComment: Great DOF and use of leading lines. The grain, to me, looks fine, but I bet you'll get hammered even though it's probably intentional. Good luck. |

Historic craftsmanshipby cabaComment: Whoa, this photo is absolutely beautiful. It's interesting that you chose to include the pillar on the right, but I think it really adds to the photo. I expect this one to make top ten. |

Weathered Woodby The EskimoComment: Whoa, great contrast and color, the composition is excellent as well. I think you'll probablly get hammered for over-processing though. |

Shadows on the viewdeckby burtctComment: Wow, great use of leading lines, the shadows on the wood provide great interest, there's plenty of DOF, and the view is magnificent. My only slight complaint is that the sky seems blown, but that is minor and doesn't detract much from the overal effect. |
