	Lion by Liz91 Comment: lots of lions/tigers in the challenge, and if you enter one it better be quite good. I like this shot, but it suffers from soft focus. the colors are nice and the exposure seems good

	Male Northern Pygmy Owl (Glaucidium californicum) by Dr.Confuser Comment: beautifully composed and focused. background is perfectly non-distracting. colors are right on. this could have worked int the textures challenge as well. good work! bumping up

Ok snap away while I pose . by trish Comment: nice focus, colors, exposure and composition - although I might have prefered a slightly tighter crop to remove the distracting leaf upper right and to deemphasize the foreground rock lower left. larger image would have been nice, as well. bumping up
