simple, yet powerful. The glare of light off the penny along with the dark background makes the picture. Also, good idea to have the penny standing upright instead of laying flat - that adds a little twist to it and makes the picture more interesting.

wow. Where was this taken? It's really neat (and the trees in the background give the shot a lot of character) although i would try to straighten out the picture a little so it doesn't look so crooked :)

nice setup. The spilt salt and upright pepper make a great contrast for each other. Also, the nodescript background only makes the picture better by bringing attention the the salt and pepper shakers.
