Why row when you can sail?by theSajComment: I see the triangle, however I see the phrase "Why Row? Sail!" First and formost, and seeing how that is not the point of the photo, I would have tried to find a subject that had more of a presence. |

Three Pointsby MatthewComment: 3 points do not a triangle make without the lines to connect them. Especially when one of the points, is not a point, but oblong. I would have focused my shot on the building in the top right, where there are natural triangle formations, other then trying to force one to imagine something where there is nothing. -4 |

Perceived Triangleby snowleopard10101Comment: This is a good photo, and being the point of the challenge and I'm looking for it, I see the triangle...but If I were looking at this shot without knowing the intent, then I wouldn't immediately think "triangle"...and that's what I'm looking to see in this challenge. It's not enough that you can force the triangle into the photo...Maybe I'm not abstract enough of a person, but upon initial inspection, I see a line. Not a triangle. And I think this might suffer for the fact that a lot of people will give no more then a passing glance, and they won't see it. Most people will need to be hit over the head with the actual replica of the shape, other then a loose representation of it. That being said, because the more I look at it, the more I like it, I'm giving you a 6. LOL. |

Ferruginous Hawk by riotComment: great macro, however a bit over sharpened, and the eyes fade into the background thus. -5 |

Shaped by my Pastby RonBeamComment: I would have liked to see this in a different challenge. The sapes and contrast are wonderful, however it's a struggle to find the triangle. I know you were seeing it in the shadow, but this photo has the distinction of being a square peg in a round hole. The photo however stands on it's own, with sharpness and contrast and being off kilter enough so that it makes it akin to an abstract painting. As I said, I just wish it were in a different challenge so I couls score it higher -6 |

Danielby sacredspiritComment: I'd be interested to know the reason you named it "Daniel". I know the meaning of the name Daniel is "God is my Judge", but I don't see the relevence here, other then to embarass myself with mentioning the Stargate reference with the Pyramid, and thinking I really am a Sci-Fi junkie...LOL I would have liked to see the cloth in front completely blacked out. I think it would make a stronger image to have the object floating in space, so as not to detract from the image. |
