These toads are not actually mating. This was a male and female toad in migration season trying to get to the breeding ground (which I assume is the massive lake not far away from my house.) There are at this time of the year loads of them crawling around on the roads and paths. Here is a little excert form the BBC nature website about what these toads are up to.

"Although males usually wait for females at breeding sites, they will sometimes try to ambush them before they reach the water. Males clamber onto the backs of females and hold onto them tightly (a posture known as amplexus), the nuptial pads on their fingers providing extra grip. Over-eager males sometimes grab another male, but the captured male̢۪s croak soon informs them of their mistake."

The object you are trying to frame is a little too small in the picture and although it certainly attracts my attention I think focusing on the rock and the element inside would have helped this image. It may have also helped to get rid of the rather uninspiring sky.

The image for me looks a little dark for such a happy, happy time. Maybe taking a lower angle to get the childs face and look of concentration would of made this a little better.

I think I would have scored this image higher if it didnt feel a little out of focus and if the image had a touch more exposure to help lighten the flowers.

Interesting line of foliage you have captured here. The image itself however looks a little soft to me and lacks punch (contrast?)
