Awsome shot Kyle. The lighting effects really work here. It looks like it belongs on another world, only the palm trees make it earthly.

Dare I say it, you cut the top off slightly.....Naughty naughty, slap on the wrist!

I've never been in a building like that. Is that the organ up there, floating around?

This one caught my eye first, stood out from the rest. Its the colours I think and the strong simple lines. I would consider cloning out the building in the bottom right and narrowing the crop. The cloud is a bit burnt out but it still works very well. Excellent image. 7-8/10.

Thanks for all the comments:

I wasn't sure about the "glow" myself but I couldn't think of anything else to detract from the otherwise blown out sky.

ubique
Not the first one to have compared it to snails :-)

autool
I shall pay more attention next time to the cropping.

Thanks, glad you liked it.

I thought it was a bit different and hoped that would help in the voting.

Glad you liked it, it is a great building. My shot doesn't convey the scale of it I don't think, but if you look in my portfolio there are some close up shots which will give you an idea of the size.

The crop is a bit tight on the bottom you're right. There is a very large warehouse type building below it and the steel corrugated roof is just below and I had to crop it out.

SandyP
It is interesting architecture, glad you liked it.

It was about 09:30 Sunday morning just as the market was being setup. Are you from the NE?

Edited for spelling!

Well I might not be one of the other four but I'm still a bit shocked...... I had it in my top three. Don't be too down though keep em coming like this and I'll keep voting them up there.

I had a feeling this was your shot. Sorry I didn't get round to commenting on it during the challenge. The arches, the wet stone and what light there was is enough to carry it off. Well done.

Only one expletive...WOW

The only thing is the fence at the top of the shot, clone it out. I can't see any footprints?

Great shot and the B&W with the darkening of the edges is wonderful.

I like this one the best out of the building shots. Wonder how it would look with the same effect applied to it that was applied to "Backdoor"?
