Légaré Millby grandmarginalComment: I've been playing around with duotone images myself, (I assume this is a duotone?). Quite a pleasing composition, nice reflections. The highlighs are a little harsh I think.
I'm not sure that the yellow is the right tone for my taste but hey if it works for you that's what counts the most. Nice shot, well done. |

Pathway of Lightby scalvertComment: Amazing shot, one I've tried to capture many times without sucess. I lioke the way there is colour in the leaves yet most of the shot seems to be mono. Not sure if its selective desat or just the high contrast that makes it seem that way? Thats the way an effect should be subtle but still create the effect. The dappled light gives depth and the 3D effect, the road leads you into the shot, its a pity it bends off to the left so much but I guess the light wasn't going to hang around for too long and wait for you to better compose the shot? Excellent, a 10 from me. |

Columnsby L1Comment: I gave this a 9, perhaps the highest score I've ever awarded. I just love it! I wish I'd taken it. There's implied lines everywhere and geometric shapes all over the place. My eyes never gets tired of looking at it. The lighting is great, the lines, perspective and shapes just draw me in. B&W works well, what colour are those dark bands originally? Excellent image, a very jealous 9, well done. |

The Victoria Lineby johnmComment: I've a whole load of six's to comment on and couldn't wait to get to this one, I like it a lot, but, it could have been a 7, 8 or even a 9 for me. Its obviously a long exposure to get the movement of the train and the people. But do the sign and the seated people have a double image? If it intentional, it doesn't work for me. If its camera shake then you should have used something to steady the camera. Having those sharp would have made a much much better image in my opinion. I have given it a six and I still like it. |

Starting LIneby pumaComment: I like this shot because of the unusual viewpoint. I like to try and capture what others may not see in a scene. The wheels, the forks, the spokes and the line of boots all go to make the shot what it is. Nice lighting and exposure, the DOF is OK. Pity about the other bikes in the background they detract from the rest of the shot. Its also tightly croped on the left but there's a little empty space on the right which in my opinion upsets the balance a little. A six from me, well done. |

Extended linesby GabrielComment: Good night time shot, you could have entered it for the night time challenge?
Obvious implued lines, nicely exposed, I think, maybe a little overdone? Anyway a six from me, nice one. |

Window Linesby kevrobertsonComment: Can't miss the implied lines in this one! Yep those lines are there. Lots and lots of lines. Going up and down and across. Yep lines, and then there's the ......err...the...errr...windows, yes the windows, in lines and lines.
Sorry I'm being facetious. I actually like this shot, how many would have 'seen' this shot from looking at that building? Ideal for this challenge. Spot on. Its very powerful at first, quite an impact but it quickly becomes a bit boring when you realise that there's nothing goig on at any of the windows, I've looked at them all.
Having said that I don't know how you could add interest, so I gave it a six. Good shot though, I wouldn't have been disapointed with it. |

Windowsby yael27Comment: Good lines, nice colours, exposure etc. I'm not sure straight on is the best angle, did you explore other angles? Almost straight on makes it difficult to do anything else with the image creatively I mean. How about from one side and experiment with DOF? A six anyway from me. |

On the Fenceby mariomelComment: Quality image, selective desaturation works very well here. The implied lines are not the main part of the image though, or don't really play a vital role in the make up of the imge. The colour difference and the textures are what makes this image. A six from me, well done. |
