My Point Of View.by ikopanasComment: I'm not sure if you are bemoaning or celebrating the fact that its your point of view? Either way its a nice idea with a bit more thought applied than some. The lamp does a nice job, balanced by the window. The colours are nice and warm inside while outside is a cold blue light, i.e. daylight. The scene looks busy without being too cluttered. Though maybe cropping to the left of the window may have been a little better. Well done. |

Unfocussedby frosty1Comment: Nice idea to match the title and theme. Colours and interest in the shapes, gives a sense of movement. |

10 - 4by gunsmith6Comment: I like the title, made me smile. That looks like an interesting vehicle. I'd love to have something with character and the time to keep it running of course. I suspect I'll never have either. A simple shot which gives an insight into the life of the photographer, (if that's really your car?). |

Beauty in Adversityby JessiComment: I think I am becoming a lover of the abstract, maybe I just year for it.... The colours the angle and the subject combine here to force the viewer to stop and ponder as to the story behind it, or is that just me? Thanks for showing me that. |

Cantankerous, Old & Gritty :: Still Make a Pointby glad2badadComment: I like this simple yet poiniant image. Even without the theme of the challange and the title you have given it. I would want to look at and study the image. Its the point of focus, the line of the wire through the diagonal and the noise in the image which gives that gritty, sandy quality. That and the colour. I can almost feel the rust between my fingers yet know that it will still hurt to be on the wrong end of the spines. Excellent shot, of which I would be proud. Only another photographer would say that of this image I suppose? |

Wall-(m)Eby odinndagurComment: One of the better examples of the shadow person theme. A little more thought has produced a more interesting image. The side lighting and the textured wall are simple elements well used to produce the image. Whilst to be brutally honest, I don't think the "shadow image" type of shot will win the challenge. I applaud the thought that has gone into producing a diffent angle on it. Well done, that's what is needed and you will get rewards with that type of thinking. |

My Own Blend by TechoComment: But isn't photography creativity? After all what have you done here...? I like the colours you have chosen. I like the setup and the moment you've chosen to release the shutter. Did you take a series and choose one or was it just a one off shot? Well done for the thinking that's gone into it. |

Phone Ringing Nobody Homeby codauberComment: You must got up very early to get that shot, so points for dedication. Not so sure about the framing though...? Moving left, getting lower down to use the roof of the booth to fill what is an empty nothing space at the moment, may have been better. I like the use of mono for the city scene, colours in this type of shot easily distract from the main subject. Well done for thinking of something new with a twist, that's exactly what is needed. |

invictusby tnunComment: By viture of the fact that the bird appears to be in the middle of the road? Or that it, therefore you are a fighter? Or am I reading too much into it? What would this image be without the title you gave it and the theme that it is given to represent? Take away those and its a very ordinary image but, it should be taken in context and therefore its a thought provoking image. An idea cleverly portrayed. Thank you. |
