It was twenty years ago todayby MichaelCComment: Very clever & well done! Just recently I was saying to my wife how I remember the 20th anniversary of the album in 1987 when I was a teenager, and at the time, I thought 20 years was such a long time & that 1967 was ancient history. And now it's been another 20 years!! It's weird to think that teenagers today must feel about the 80s how I feel about the 60s. |

Windblownby ladyhawk22Comment: I feel frustrated that I can't see her face, but I really like this photo a lot. Very playful, well composed, & nice tonal range. Thanks! |

blowing trees in infraredby ralphComment: These infrared shots just do not do it for me. That's my problem, I know, but I really don't see how infrared adds anything to this. Why did you make it infrared? Just because you could? I'm not trying berate or belittle you, I'm just at a point in my "photography" where I find myself, asking "Why?" more often, and I really am curious why you chose to use this treatment.
You know, the more I look at this, the more it's growing on me. I like the clarity of the strong, vertical pole contrasting with the blurry, moving trees, and the infrared seems to really emphasize that difference. I guess I should just think of infrared as a different kind of Blk & Wht. Thanks! |
