I love the photo. Then I saw the title and I hate the song. I needed to hide the title before voting otherwise I would have given you one of my lowest 2 scores. I usually hate blur but this one stuck to my back bone. Don't like the knee at the bottom center edge of the photo but loved everything else. Love guitars, love the hand movements and the different textures of the background bottom right and upper left. I would have only liked the artists face and/or the face of the guitar to be more in focus in contrast to the bluring movements.

This one is just too avant guard for me to even attempt to describe. At first it seemed a smoking blur gun. Then I thought hey a sound wave that has a technical jargon attached. Still photo shapes very interesting but costly for points towards a sounding goal.

I'm not sure you can enter art as the main subject in a challenge but this clay looking beast does seem to be giving out more than a hoot. I found the photo very bright and the circular lines in the sky distracting.

Sight of Acoustic Sound

I just love guitars. Great color tone and the black background complements the clarity of lines and waves. I enjoyed the special effect of the hand in front of the strings but can't seem to understand who to get the hand into the caramel bar. I mean the hand behind the strings and into the sound box. The coolness of this photo is more present at first glance than the novelty seemed to wear off over time. Very very good entry. I like guitars. What can I say. If you have a guitar and I'm voting, you get credits. Good luck.

Awsome color changes and lines. One of my favorite photos even if the sky seems artificial. Can't seem to grasp the sound theme as well as some of the other entries. Good luck

Oaxaca's fiesta

At first glance I focused on the wall and architecture more than the instrument. I can immagine the player blowing his tuba type instrument but found many small distractions at the bottom corner areas. I gave low points but would have given top scores for a close-up shot of the reflection in the golden saucer area. I think it was the most amazing part of this photo but it was lost in the immensity of the budding crowd and grandios structure. Good luck in the challenge.

Brush of blue rush blur had me blinking for focus. Kind of had me wonder if this was a perspective trick that kept me from seeing clearly. I had to put on my glasses. I enjoyed at once the X-wing upper right just at the perfect spot and the clear mailbox blast of color bottom left again just spot on. I hate this photo without my glasses but love it with them on. Weird or what to think. I knew it was an instrument and would have given more points if it were played. Being the only photo that played with my eyes and changed my view from irritable to cool special effects...from 4-5 initial guess due to the lovely blues, I finally wiped my eyes and settled for a resounding 8 because of the journey I enjoyed tremendously.

Class act photo. I could see this in a folded handout at the opening night musical Arts festival. Very user friendly image. Cute lighting on set. Sounds good to me. Cello reflection lower center floor my favorite. Tape on floor on light cord not my favorite.

Whoah this is a very busy photo. I could search for this and that all day long and keep myself interested. Earphone and drumstick movement nails the sound theme for me. I would have liked the photo less centered. Enjoyed the darker shades in the body suit and base drum. Love color better than black and white unless there is a good dose of lights mixed with darks. Thanks for sharing.

Aha! I see the rainbow in the bottom left corner. Do I get a treasure? My favorite place to be. I held hands with someone who is dear to me here for the first time. Love the movement of water we can't see. That mist keeps hiding so much water flow. Very quaint tourist scene but my first thought was not roar or sound. I love the upper right corner ledge of the fall. Good luck with the challenge.
