I hate photos that have little color or subjects that are too centered. Your photo is nevertheless a masterpiece and the lines that frame the jumper is as pure as the nail on the coffin of all the other entries. You ten them all. Great winner. Adding to my favorites but would have liked a few more levels of darker tones somewhere in the photo.

This is not jumping, this is quite literally flying. Outch-a-monga! Great fun. Too much glare in the bottom lower left distracting. Very plain background kept my score in the mids. Good luck.

When I hear jump I asume the upward direction, not falling to the ground yet I can hear someone yelling in my youth "Go ahead and jump!". I liked the interesting flow of blues in sky, ground patch and jeans. Did not like the hanging chain near the right edge of the photo or the busy sand texture bottom corner left due to sandles. Enjoyed the energy of the shot. Thanks.

I'm thinking this to be a rolling jump instead of a pure jumping motion. I like the action and the great background. More shade to light variation would have been nice and I love seeing the full expression on players faces in people photos.

Ten for the incredible leap but Zero for the background. That leaves me with a five score. Raising to 6 because of the crisp clarity of the main subject and the weak entries I've rated so far. Great extension but I mostly love the calmness and concentration in the expression of the athlete. Best photo I've seen and rated this challenge so far.

I agree with your scoring comment. It is indead a four. My first impression was that your photo seemed to capture falling. If you had a title like "watch me try to leap towards 6 while grasping for the beam, I would have scored you at least a 5 like all of my previous rated so far. More color is better for my high scoring yet I feel black and white in this case would remind me of an old TV flick and again lean me towards the 5 to 6 range. Stop looking for the fall and focus on the numero uno spot you so rightly deserve. We all deserve our turn at the top. Go for it. I'm just waiting in line to cheer when you get there. Good luck.
