Symphony in 'Meow Major'by magnetic9999Comment: The cat's head is out of focus and the bottom end of the keyboard is perhaps a bit over-lit. The challenge was to "Make your viewer laugh out loud" which I'm afraid this photo doesn't succeed at - not for me anyway. Plus it features a pet and so is doomed to almost certain failure here. |

Virtuosityby RiderGalComment: Why is the dog wearing slippers and jewelry? I find this odd rather than funny. The sepia tone works well on this image, but you have a lighting problem - the keyboard gets blown out at the bottom end. |

Un-Forbidden Fruit by autoolComment: Your boots are too big! The background isn't as black as it could be - and in a photo like this it needs to be as black as possible. There's some sort of mark above your "knee" that I find a bit distracting. Nice idea though. |

For an instant Smokey the Bear, cook at 450F :o)by kosmikkreeperComment: You've used flash, which has reflected on the back of the oven and on the bear's fur causing a lot of completely white patches. It might be better to put the camera on a tripod (or a stable surface) and use a longer exposure to remove the need for flash. |

That's odd, where did that come from?by maken-wavesComment: Too heavily compressed - JPEG artifacts are clearly visible in the leather of the wallet. Remember that the maximum size for images is 150Kb. Your file is only 12.3Kb, so you can easily afford to increase the quality of the image (i.e. use less compression). |

We want to go to Florida! Help get us out of the winter wonderland.by MorganComment: Too bright - most of the snow is almost completely white - it would be nice to see some texture in the snow. By contrast, the man's clothes are too dark and again, no texture is visible. I would have composed the photo differently - putting the man and the dogs off centre to the left or right to give more interest. |
