I made it out of plastic. The base screws on top of the gas tank cap (where the existing screws are). A ball head is screwed on top of the mount to support the camera. Check out a picture here.

The camera sits pretty high off the tank. It had to be that high to see over the handle bars. I sometimes hit the top of the camera with my chin while riding.

I like the composition and post processing. My eye keeps getting drawn to the people on the cart, but they are not in sharp focus and I end up looking at the tile in the foreground. This makes the overall picture feel unsettling.
