Spelling jokes aside, I like the picture. Good DoF and black and white was a good choice. I think a little splash of color, maybe bloody footprints or drops coming towards the viewer might have looked nice as well.

Just came across this, after seeing your The Reader, The Listener and the Daydreamer image. As an avid gamer, I think video games get this view from non gamers too often. And while being obsessed with anything to the point you neglect other aspects of your life isn't healthy, this also applies to TV, reading and even photography. How you described reading, is exactly what games are to many people. The stories told in some games now easily match the best I've read in a book or seen in a movie. In some ways even surpassing those mediums because you're playing an active role in that story being told.

Cute pose and dog, but I'm finding the processing a bit too harsh. Too much saturation, makes it look unnatural. Possibly too much sharpening as well. I see white haloing around the ears, which makes it look like he wasn't really there, and Photoshopped into the grass instead.

I feel this should have ribboned. My favorite and only 10 in the challenge. Love the colors and the tone and just the overall look to the image. Especially in the instrument and the dress. And the dead burnt tree is the perfect backdrop. Beautiful image.
