Exposure, depth of field and focus are all judged extremely well. To me though the dog seems a tad over sharpened, but not so much to spoil the image.

Thanks Amber appreciate your comments, you mentioned good features of the shot that I didn't notice or intentionally do though I'll try to next time. As for the oversharpened dog I totally agree, as the dog was a bit out of focus I thought I had to sharpen a bit (I used the sharpen filter, couldn't get it right with USM) though I didn't totally like the look either. Thanks again for all your help.

Fantastic composition. This is my favourite I've seen yet. I don't usually go much on B&W or borders but they both probably add to this shot. I really like this shot.
