Many thanks for the kind comments. Regarding patriotism, I am not British by birth or by passport and patriotism per se is certainly very low-key aspect of everyday life in the UK. Occasionally it does break out however, and that was the moment during an air show, devoted to the daring do of the early aviation pioneers. Retro feel to the picture was almost inevitable in the dreary overcast conditions but I did try to recreate the 100-year-old feeling indeed (with a touch of modern life). Aknowledgement from posthumous is therefore most highly appreciated. One must also aknowledge the boldness of the pilots who regularly take these 100-year old designs to the air.
